[클릭이사람] (392) Hee-In Chun, president of  Kyocera Precision Tools Korea, has achieved remarkable success through 'cross administration' which combines work and faith community. There is a company which drives on stately without a stop in general crisis which world economy sinks in deep mire. Surprisingly the company has had a great success for 10 years continuously that is an epoch. It is not a year or two years. The astonishing enterprise is Kyocera Precision Tools Korea that is located in  Nam-dong industrial complex in Nam-dong gu of Incheon. The business world pays attention to 'cross administration' that combines work and faith community. Kyocera Precision Tools Korea that produces a precision cutting tool has been come into the spotlight in Japan not Korea. It takes number one place in sales and a rate of increase of profit consecutively for 8 years among 180 subsidiary companies of Kyocera group in the world. President Chun, Hee-In says that the secret of the company's growth is Christian administration. He has gotten excellent results through 'cross administration' which was based on Christian faith. President Chun had once severe ordeal. He suffered a bitter blow due to IMF crisis while he imported tools and sold them after establishing Hanrockmulsan(the former of Kyocera Precision Tools Korea) Although the most of companies carried out the wholesale discharge of workers   competitively as part of reconstructuring to survive under IMF crisis and he also has had extremely difficult situation to manage his company, he has not laid off even one person. As a true Christian, he prayed for saving his company sincerely to God thinking he and his workers would live or ruin together. After that, he listened God voice. "Did you relieve 120 people who I had sent to your company". So he has repented that he had not relieved the people's spirit. A miracle has been happened after he prayed. Kyocera group in Japan which was ranked one hundredth enterprise in the world merged Hanrockmulsan and all of Hanrockmulsan's workers could work in the company without dismissing just one person as he wished. He decided to organize a community of love believing God would solve all difficulties if the company became a community of love after Kyocera group invested 200 hundred million won in 1998 and the company has been reborn as a special company for production of cutting tool. That was the moment which the company's vision was born by his determination. The vision was that he would organize the community of love which friendship and the realm of God were realized at the workplace and life. Under this circumstances, his ability of administration was recognized as the company achieved a great record which company's accounts were in the black for 8 consecutive years from the first year of settlement of accounts(2000) of Kyocera Precision Tools Korea to 2007. "Although I thought that this year's goal was the best and maximum, if we set a goal higher for next year than that of this year, our company will achieve the goal excessively again. We have done that for 10 years. Our company is the only one company which exceeds the goal annually among Kyocera subsidiary companies." I was curious about the workers who accomplished the community of love through 'cross administration' that was unfamiliar to me so I asked him about them. President Chun said in a modest way that the workers were highly ordinary people including him and they has removed mountains as their little abilities were gathered.

In the way that officers and workers join a new community by lot every 18 months, they can form a close friendship each other. Moreover, with a regular meeting which is held every week, they visit their home by turns and do social-minded activities such as helping the disabled. So their relationship is very close as much as they can each know what the other wants. Service which is held every Monday morning is the place that all of workers share evenly the company's vision through faith. As the atmosphere of the company has been changed naturally to the community of love that has been different from the other companies that has carried on business through perpendicular order, peculiar system that each department has been connected with religious community has obtained excellent results in terms of administration. As much as many proposals or a lot of ideas were conveyed from bottom to top naturally and communication in the company has been activated livelily, competitive power of the company has been risen. President Chun says that is 'cross administration'. From the president to a mere clerk, they form the bond of love and friendship  through the community of love and self-confidence of workers rends the sky about deep understanding of mutual relationship and smooth communication. Kyocera Precision Tools Korea has grown as a enterprise of middle standing which 250 people work and its yearly sale is 550 hundred million won based on the present time of 2008 under depression of severe world economy through 'cross administration' and it shows model of 'Workplace Church' that workplace can be a church. President Chun has contributed to develop national economy because he has improved productivity of a precision tool industry and reduced the expenses of buying tools as the company succeeded in localization of a highly efficient cutting tool which was supplied through importation. He was granted a testimonial from President in 2000 for a meritorious service that attracted 200 hundred million foreign capital under the situation that many companies were become bankrupt in succession due to financial difficulty. Moreover, he won a prize of Finance Minister for exemplary tax payment in 2007.
